Blue Bloods is bringing back a key character on the show—and we're very sorry to say it isn't the beloved Linda Reagan. Drug cartel member Luis Delgado (Lou Diamond Phillips) makes a shocking reappearance during the episode "By Hook or by Crook," much to the anger of Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg.)
Luis and Danny have been feuding for the past few seasons after it was revealed that Luis and his gang were responsible for setting fire to Danny's house. "Your house went up like a stack of kindling. My only regret? Your family wasn't in it at the time," Luis told Danny during a heated exchange in the season 9 premiere.
The drug lord also hinted at having a hand in the "accidental" death of Danny's wife, Linda. "First your house burns up and then a chopper goes down. That’s some pretty bad mojo you carry around," Luis mentioned.
However, at the end of the first episode, Danny and his partner, Maria Baez, (Marisa Ramirez) discovered a beheaded body—believed to be Luis's—and fans thought that was the last they would see of the criminal. But careful observers might have noticed a comment by Danny that predicted Luis's return. "Nothing is ever over," Danny told Maria as they stared at the corpse.

Well, it looks like Danny was certainly right. We're not exactly sure what trouble Luis is conjuring up this time around, but based on his past offenses, it can't be good for Danny.
But of course, the investigator isn't the only one who's having some personal issues. Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray) begrudgingly introduces her fiancé, Jamie Reagan (Will Estes), to her mother, Lena, who's played by Christine Ebersole. This is also the first time viewers will "meet" Eddie's mom.
Per usual, the drama continues with the Reagan family—and we can't wait to see how it all plays out. Watch all the events unfold on Friday, November 9, at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
