Kelly Clarkson—a woman eternally after our own hearts—is back at it again, speaking her truth. The Voice coach took to Twitter to say what she really thinks (read: what we all really think) about exercising.
"This just in.... I still hate working out. I’m sweaty, red, and not any thinner 😂👎💁♀️👀 people say it’s good for your heart.... but people also say red wine is good for your heart," . "I mean, I’m just stating facts here people. Who am I to ignore science?! #cardioversuswine."
Of course, the replies were flooded with words of support. "YES wine all day every day!" ." "I love your reasoning skills!" . "Wine for the win. #nocontest," . "I'm with ya, Kelly! And while drinking wine, you're getting a bit of an arm workout, so it's twice as good for you!" .
She might not enjoy hitting the gym, but the "I Don't Think About You" singer recently revealed she's shed 37 pounds in the past year. In an interview with , she opened up about her weight loss—and reiterated her dislike for exercise. "I'm not working out!" Clarkson revealed. "I think people think I'm working out and I'm like, 'Don't think I'm going to come play some sport!'"
She also told Today that healthy eating has played a huge part in her slim-down. "I read this book, it's called , and it might not work for you but it worked wonders for me," Clarkson explained to Hoda Kotb.
Whatever she's been doing, she looks just as flawless as ever. We'll raise a glass of red (or white) to that!
