Everything You Need to Know About Hallmark's 2018 Movie Lineup

The network is debuting more than 90 new movies this year!

Still sad that we have to wait until the end of the year for more Hallmark Christmas movies? You're not alone! But here's some consolation: The network is rolling out exciting new movies and specials all year long. Between Hallmark and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, the channels are set to release more than 90 original feel-good films in 2018, including a record 34 (!) new Christmas movies (although unlike in previous years, none of these will air in summer—only reruns).

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will debut 36 of the network's new installments, such as The Crossword Mystery, which combines three of our favorite things: crime, crossword puzzles, and Lacey Chabert. Also in development is a mystery starring real-life husband-and-wife Alexa PenaVega of Nashville and Big Time Rush's Carlos PenaVega. And some of your favorite Hallmark shows (hello, When Calls the Heart and Good Witch!) were renewed for more seasons.

Hallmark Lineup: Still to Come

Summer 2018

June Weddings: Hallmark is all about weddings in June. The network is planning a preview show and five original June wedding movies: Marrying Mr. Darcy, starring Cindy Busby and Ryan Paevey (June 9); The Perfect Bride: Wedding Bells, starring Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith (June 9); Love at First Dance, starring Becca Tobin and Niall Matter (June 16); Wedding March 4: Something Old, Something New, starring Jack Wagner, Josie Bissett, Andrew Walker, and Merritt Patterson (June 23); and Yes, I Do, starring Jen Lilley, Marcus Rosner, and Jessica Lowndes (June 30).

Summer Nights: Hallmark's annual summer event will return this year. Although most of the lineup is still unannounced, we do know that it will include the renewal of Chesapeake Shores. Season 3 of the original series comes Sunday, Aug. 5 at 9 p.m. EST as part of Hallmark's "Summer Nights" event, reports .

Summer of Mystery: Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will debut ten original mysteries (each Sundays at 9 p.m. EST) as part of this summer series, including three Hailey Dean Mysteries, starring Kellie Martin (starting in June); Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To the Altar, starring Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Crystal Lowe, and Geoff Gustafson (July); Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: The Disappearing Game, starring Candace Cameron Bure, Marilu Henner, and Niall Matter (July 29); and four more Garage Sale Mystery installments, starring Lori Loughlin, including The Pandora's Box Murders (August 5).


Fall/Christmas 2018

Countdown to Christmas: Hallmark's most anticipated event will include an unprecedented 34 new Christmas movies this year, beginning October 27. Some names set to star in the pictures: Danica McKellar, Kellie Martin, and country stars LeAnn Rimes (It's Christmas Eve) and Kellie Pickler (Christmas At Graceland).

Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas: Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will debut 12 of the 34 films for their special event starting November 4.


Hallmark Lineup: Come and Gone

Spring 2018

Spring Fever: This started with a preview show on Saturday, March 10, and Hallmark rolled out four new films: The Sweetest Heart, starring Julie Gonzalo and Chris McNally (March 17); Royal Matchmaker, starring Joy Lenz, Will Kemp and Brittany Bristow (March 24); Home by Spring, starring Poppy Drayton and Steven McQueen (March 31); and Once Upon A Prince, starring Megan Park and Jonathan Keltz (April 7).

The Beach House premiere: The highly anticipated small-screen adaptation of Mary Alice Monroe's novel (starring Andie MacDowell, Minka Kelly, and Chad Michael Murray) filmed on Georgia's Tybee Island premiered April 28.

Good Witch returns: The series starring Catherine Bell, James Denton, and Bailee Madison returned for Season 4 starting April 29 at 9 p.m. ET.

Royally Ever After: A fairy tale filmed in Ireland and featuring Fiona Gubelmann aired May 26.

2018 American Rescue Dog Show: On February 12, Hallmark Channel debuted the as part of its campaign. Hosted by Rebecca Romijn and Rich Eisen, the contest featured shelter dogs—mixed breeds and rescued purebreds alike—competing for the title of Best Rescue Dog, Best in Couch Potato, Best in Wiggle Butt, Best in Underbite, and more.
